Writing to the Rebbe
A blessing from the Lubavitcher Rebbe
On this page, you can write your name and the names of your loved ones for prayer and a request for a blessing at the holy resting place of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The requests are sent discreetly and directly to the Rebbe’s Ohel.
Compose your blessing request openly and sincerely, from the heart. Take upon yourself a good deed or mitzvah, recite a chapter of Tehillim (Psalms), and add a personal prayer for divine blessings.
As per the Rebbe’s request, it is customary to give charity immediately after sending a Pidyon Nefesh (blessing request), supporting the Rebbe’s institutions and initiatives—Chabad House of Guangzhou.

The Rebbe’s Ohel-Resting Place
The Ohel is the burial place of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of righteous memory, located next to the grave of the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn of righteous memory. The “Ohel” refers to the structure built around the righteous Rebbe’s grave.
Anyone who ever had a connection with the Rebbe felt his love and personal care for every Jew—regardless of status or situation. Whether they asked for a blessing, advice, or support, countless men and women found strength in the Rebbe’s guidance. The Rebbe’s inner presence was filled with deep spiritual vitality and authenticity, touching people’s souls and leaving a lasting impression that continues to resonate to this day.
We remember the Rebbe’s words that the influence of a righteous person continues even after his physical passing. To this day, thousands of people from all backgrounds come to the Ohel, requesting blessings and praying at the Rebbe’s resting place with heartfelt sincerity. The Ohel has become a spiritual center that continues to inspire and elevate souls, granting blessings and encouragement in both material and spiritual matters.
The Chabad “Ohel Lubavitch” center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (almost without interruption), and offers comfortable access for visitors.
There are guides available to help with the customs associated with visiting the Ohel. However, the most important preparation is spiritual—studying Torah and doing a sincere soul accounting.
